Disconnects, black screen and settings
There is no single official fix list. A 7 Nov 2026 patch repairs lobby creation and three rooms. Random disconnects, a black screen and the lack of rebinding are older player reports, not promises in that patch.

Report versus patch
Disconnects: a January 2026 Steam thread describes random online drops and a forced restart. It had no replies. The November patch says online lobbies sometimes failed to create, and that this was fixed. It does not say every random drop is gone. I will not invent a port or a setting that “stops the DC.”
Motion: a developer reply on the 2022 game’s discussion asks for a field-of-view slider, an online option without split screen, and a fix for camera sway after you move forward and then strafe. Until those ship, players in that thread turn the field of view up, turn shake and flicker down, and shorten sessions. That is their workaround, not a menu I have confirmed on the sequel.
Black screen: one NVIDIA user got past a black screen after the loading animation by changing V-Sync away from Fast. One AMD user got in after two or three retries. Those are single cases. Performance hitching on PS5 Pro is a review note, and the patch does not mention it.
Rebinding: a January 2024 thread says the game has no key remap. No later note says that changed. A controller, or Steam Input outside the game, is the suggestion in that thread. I am not writing “rebinding is supported.”

Did the launch patch fix disconnects?
It fixed lobby creation failing. It did not claim to fix every random drop.
Can I rebind keys?
A 2024 thread says no. Nothing newer says yes.
