Escape Academy 2 on PS5
A native PS5 game, $19.99, out 5 November 2026. There is no PS4 edition. One or two players, on the couch or online. Cross-play with PC or Xbox is not in any official note I could find.

Store facts and the performance argument
The PlayStation product id printed in the store data is HB2473-PPSA37577_00-EABACK2SCHOOLPS5. The same structured data stamps the unlock at 2026-11-05T18:00:00Z. That is a store field, not a Sony news post, so I would not promise every region unlocked at local midnight.
Steam’s language list for the game is English, French, Italian, German, Japanese, simplified Chinese and Latin American Spanish. The PS5 store title line only highlights simplified Chinese, English and Japanese. I did not treat the shorter line as proof the other languages are missing, and I did not treat the Steam list as proof they are all on the disc. The trophy list was not retrieved, so there is no trophy table on this page.
GameSpew’s review, played on a PS5 Pro, describes open-campus hitching. A Yahoo roundup quotes Insider Gaming at 6/10 and mentions crashes. Patch 1.0.20261106.001 fixes the online lobby, Lightbulb Moment, Mind Your Elders and Quanty. It does not mention frame rate. I am not telling anyone the patch cured the hitching.
