A free update on 18 April 2024, not a $9.99 pack. Three arenas and three modes. You can play alone or against another person. Buying it is not a step.
Arenas, modes, and a name that splits
The modes in the Games Press announcement are Escape Race, Tic-Tac-Toe and Scavenger Hunt. Power-ups include a horse mask that blocks vision and sticky shoes that slow you down. Platforms named in that announcement and on Nintendo’s Complete Edition page are Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and 5, Switch, Steam and Epic. Coach Yoach is the host in the character list.
One arena is Hackannery. Another is The Showman’s Studio. The third is Tomb of the First Escapist on Nintendo’s page and in most guides, while another line of the same publisher announcement says Tomb of the Fire Escapist. I lead with First and keep Fire in the same sentence. I do not own a solved “star, moon, sun” pyramid walkthrough that I can date, so that search gets the arena name and not a fake button order. Whether both players must own the game for the versus modes is not stated.
